DESERTED,in-spite of the enthusiastically jumping and leaping prolongation of  water, in the name of waves, that constantly makes an attempt to conquer the land which always ends in a sweet calamity.SECLUDED,even then it hides a heaven made up of  mere sand, the seashells & oysters,  and the most intriguing of all the elements of the whole universe, water. The blue heaven, where the most prolific of  poets or most skilled creative artists can not exactly predict or describe at which point the blues of water and the blues of  the illusionary sky diluted at the horizon to paint the entire surrounding with blue. How can such a heaven  be secluded and deserted?.But in reality it had a constant company of some sparrows and other birds, some coconut & other species of trees rendering greenness and a small contingency of humans poisoned by the madness called love though this heaven largely seemed out of human intervention.

Relishing  each and every nanosecond of the fascination and amazement, instilled by this blue lady i sauntered as slow as possible through the fine grains of sand to reach her out.Marching inch by inch i encountered her eventually after some measure of time which i never cared to count.I was electrified the moment she embraced me, i could almost feel the flow of electrons when the first few drops of water touched my feet. Some more minutes,I was drenched up to my knees which circulated chillness through the veins targeting my entire body to feel the coolness.

As time passed, the lady brought out the analyst in me,I was able to see a pattern in which the waves struck the shore. They disguised to be normal for 4 to 5 cycles but subsequently rose unexpectedly to cover more distance than i predicted and threatened to gulp and swallow me.I left the pattern to be identified by some geeky scientist to discover.I wondered how can something which caught my imagination few minutes back can menace me in a matter of  few  seconds. Is this the exact nature of beauty all across universe to inspire and to invigorate fear at the same time?.But then it was a sweet threat that one would love to undergo always. Its been a long time that i did,to get drenched up to my waist and to play like a child in water, out of the so called maturity(which has meaning in ones perspective and is ridiculous in anothers perspective) imposed on individuals.

In the course of events it also popped up a question.Which mechanism or which power or whatever made the choices in this wonderful heaven. The color of sand, the exact amount of light which penetrates the water droplets to make the aura romantic and eye candy, the amount and formation of sand on the beach, the trees standing here and there at right places with the enough amount of green, little seashells swept out of the sea fixed in precise positions to give a delicate addition to the beauty it already had and the right force,at which the little and rare big waves  struck the shore so that this affair of waves hitting the shore doesn't cause any catastrophe.

As the water drops brought me out of my fantasy i was able to conclude with my rationality that this question of mechanism or power is out of grasp of the human mind.If one understands that power he will become the god.I said to myself ,why ask unnecessary questions when you have every bit to enjoy?.It was sensible and i again dropped into my fantasy world.I underwent the sweet threat until i felt I'm done and moved back to the shore halfheartedly as if i am forced to go to real earth from heaven.

My Notes:
I don't know about people who read my blog but i was almost bored and exhausted to write about the same old posts saying my experiences, criticizing, making fun of people or things and the mockery and the movie reviews.Even though that was my style of writing i looked for something very new to gratify my curiosity to explore the unexplored.By then this one struck me.I went to ECR(East Coast Road ) recently.(team outing he he..:P).I have  traveled through ECR before but never had the chance to gaze at the beach.(i traveled through ECR mostly at nights sadly ).This time when i got a chance to see the beaches i really fell in love with that.Oh my god it was wonderful.(i don't know whether my hectic and  freaking days  made me to enjoy that moment a lot more than usual).
You really feel the meaning of life in these moments where you amaze at natures splendor and charm. The moment you stop on a SO-CALLED busy day and look at the elegance of a small flower and smell it,the moment you stop and look at the smile of a few months old baby which brings a fulfilling smile on your face, the moment at which you look at place where the entire surrounding is covered with green trees are the ones which makes you feel that you are living the life you have been given and not the the moments in which you get a damn 10,000 grand at the month beginning or in which you overtake some wretched souls to attain a momentary victory. This must be one such moment.
Even I'm bitten by the busy bug.Caught in the turmoil of this routine,I nearly lost my ability to think and I have to put lot of effort these days to think(especially when i have to write :() and concentrate. This trip rescued me a bit from those crazy times and i decided to write about it.Being a chennaite i have never seen a beach so clean and without people and this interesting fact also contributed for my decision to write.Even though i went along with 170 people for the team outing i felt  a privacy and  i was able to enjoy.People say that ECR is a destination for lovers and all that. But I'm truly wondering how those guys can love a mortal girl when they have a heavenly immortal lady(i mean the beach and the nature) in-front of them  to love and admire.poor souls.. :P..I pity them.:P
Finally, the writing style is coz of the fact that i wanted to be little poetic. The experience nearly brought the poet out of me.(sadly me and poems are miles apart :( so just came up with this writing which could resemble that).Drop in few comments... :)

I heard this song in F.M .The song kinda impressed me a lot and after reaching home i just checked it out in You-tube.I really fell in love with this song after hearing it couple of times. It is such a Foot-taping number with right mix of music, rendition and lyrics.(I thought it 'll be good if one can get all the versions in a single place and i decided to post ll the available versions here....Of course courtesy You-tube.. :P )...The voice of the artist K'Naan is tranquilizing...All day and night I'm humming this song and even when i get up in the middle of night, the lines of the song go through my mind..(obsessed with the song really....)

I also came across various versions of the song where each one of them proved good in different aspect...I liked some versions for the lyrics(the last time i liked the lyrics was from Miley's The climb..Such a awesome one)... whereas some for the music and some for the mesmerizing voice....I have embedded all the versions i liked...

The following version simply attracted me sheerly coz of its lyrics which reflect the hope and belief that their country(K'Naan's country Somalia)  will be free someday from all the curses like poverty, violence and  dictatorship. The lines are simply too good..Check it out yourself...

When i get older, they'll call me freedom
Just like a Waving Flag.

When I get older, I will be stronger,
They'll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag,
And then it goes back, and then it goes back,
And then it goes back

Born to a throne, stronger than Rome
but Violent prone, poor people zone,
But it's my home, all I have known,
Where I got grown, streets we would roam.
But out of the darkness, I came the farthest,
Among the hardest survival.
Learn from these streets, it can be bleak,
Except no defeat, surrender retreat,

So we struggling, fighting to eat and
We wondering when we'll be free,
So we patiently wait, for that fateful day,
It's not far away, so for now we say

So many wars, settling scores,
Bringing us promises, leaving us poor,
I heard them say, love is the way,
Love is the answer, that's what they say,
But look how they treat us, Make us believers,
We fight their battles, then they deceive us,
Try to control us, they couldn't hold us,
Cause we just move forward like Buffalo Soldiers.

But we struggling, fighting to eat,
And we wondering, when we'll be free
So we patiently wait, for that faithful day,
It's not far away, but for now we say,

When I get older, when I get older
I will be stronger, just like a Waving Flag,
Just like a Waving Flag, just like a Waving flag
Flag, flag, Just like a Waving Flag

Check out this cool one too...

This one is Remix version of K'Naan and Will.i.am..

This one is by Various artist from earthquake struck Haiti...

Finally the football anthem..Awesome to the core....

And Finally in other languages like Arabic with Nancy Anjram and In Spanish by David Bisbal...

People see the world, not as it is,but as they are
Its been a long time that i have written about something that pumped me up (it was the movie 1000-il  oruvan that i bashed  finally.Quite a long time). It is said that It pains a lot when you  get  pricked by a needle than when you are stabbed by a knife. It holds true in some instances.Let me clarify something upfront,I believe that it  is absolutely essential for everyone to have an opinion on things even though it doesn't ,sometimes, fit exactly with the common view point of society and with other individuals.I personally respect individuals and their opinions. But i reckon that there is a thin line between having a different genuine opinion and a stupid senseless opinion. This post is a reaction to few of those 2nd category of opinions.

The best thing that has happened to the world in the past two centuries is democracy. And you know which is the best part of it?.It is the right of speech.I sometimes wonder how much people enjoy this.Someone said that The great thing about democracy is that it gives every voter a chance to do something stupid.Sometimes i think democracy has given everyone a chance to  speak something very stupid when ever they go to the very extent of talking absolute crap. This post is the outcome of such creepy  things i have heard over the years. I consider that its not my business to indulge in others opinion. But when people think that they can talk whatever that comes to their mind  I tend to break my notion of not interfering into others viewpoint( if the person who is talking is my friend). They sometimes get severe scoldings and at times beatings too.(this happens when they talk about sachin which provoks me).

But  i can not go on beating everyone, right?.(I don't think action and stunt  will suit my  body condition. He he.But for this,in fact i have to beat 4 or 5 people a day  with the kinda temper and anger  i have). So i turned back to my older habit of giving message(sila pala punch solli oru message kudukalamnu)through this blog so that few noble souls who read this blog would at least understand what i try to say and think over it.I get really annoyed when my friends talk ill about some of  my favorite personalities like Sachin, Roger Federer etc. The ultimate question that pops up  is "Do they really know what/who they are talking about ?.Of course even this scenario in which people talk about celebrities like Sachin (to me he is a hero not celebrity) can be overlooked(even though it is a utter stupidity) and its not a big deal. These celebrities in a way at least enjoy fame and luxury.

But sometimes few folks go overboard where they dig history and start criticizing people who had sacrificed their desires, comforts, ambitions and sometimes even life.I think there are few people who are beyond criticism(or at least deserve a fair criticism). That list doesn't include only Gandhi's and Buddha's but everyone who had put the well being of the society ahead of their interests. As far as i have heard (and noted) Gandhi is the big Victim.Lot of times i heard people saying that  the country is in ruins because of him.(Even one of my history master told this when i was in 8th grade). What they don't understand is the fact that they are able to bash him only because of the efforts he made.

If i have to criticize Gandhi i have to criticize him only for giving a chance (by getting freedom ) for some morons to talk(these fellows should have been left as slaves to Brits ).It takes a lot to leave ones family and profession for the sake of country.I bet not even 1 in 50 crore of Indian population will do that today.(Vaayale vada suda mattum theriyum). But Gandhi did it.He deserves respect for that if not for gaining independence and for the decisions he made(his decisions might be wrong). His grit to represent 30 crore people in the face of adversity against a menace is more than enough. Not only Gandhi i have heard such foolish and senseless criticisms against Nehru,Che Guevara and William Wallace of Scotland and even Subash Chandra Bose, Vivekananda (these are the only names i remember). The first question that pops up to my mind ,during such instances is,what qualification does these guys have to talk about such people?.The person who criticizes also should be considered.

It should not be like Ian chappel who has  played only 16 ODIs criticizing Sachin Tendulkar who is a veteran of some 400 ODIs.I will accept if some Gavaskar who played 125 tests criticizes Sachin. The one who criticizes should posses some qualification.I don't know German or say Telugu(why shld i go to Europe). If i say that German/Telugu is a worst creepy language, will anyone accept? .Won't Hitler rise from his grave and shoot me?.Won't the Andhrawala's(Goltis :P..No offense jus for fun) kill me?.To talk about German or Telugu i should know what it is.So if someone doesn't know something exactly well, better they shut their mouth. The ultimate fun is that these damns don't even cross the streets to vote but would talk all non sense as if they are direct disciples of Aristotle and Plato and they would criticize Gandhi and Nehrus.Even if they vote they don't consciously vote for the right person.

I think this is a kinda disease.A disease which looks for imperfections in individuals. Its there in everyone of us.But the thing is some people get that under control(whereas some people don't) and some use their reasoning and rationality to restrict this and others don't.The point is to put yourselves in the shoes of the person you talk about. Its about understanding that even those people are human and about understanding that no human being is 100 %  perfect, not even Holy Jesus Christ.Of  course this is the world which finds fault with even Christ(i hope you are aware about the fuss Dan Brown's book DaVinci code created). If i have to make a point on this i would say, accepting that  Jesus Christ had a wife and family wouldn't change anything. The sacrifice he made  when he was crucified is not gonna disappear if he was a  family man. That  has no importance and his greatness stays the same.

At the worst case scenario, what people say might even be true .But some 20 or 30 % of those bad things doesn't change the 70 or 80 % good and noble deeds they did.If one focuses on those 20% and lingers on that, then it is the individual's problem. One can be happy because the glass is half full or one can be sad because it is half empty. It depends upon the the eye of the beholder. There is one story in Mahabharata which goes like this

One day,Duryodhana went to Lord Krishna and asked.Krishna!.All the kauravas are also your cousins same as the Pandavas. But why do you always support the Pandavas and what is the reason for the hatred on us.Krishna said that he will give a reply to this allegation if Duryodhana accepts to take a test.(Ingayum assessment ah?? :( ..OMG).Duryodhana accepted.Lord Krishna then, called the Eldest of the Padavas,Dharma and asked him to count all the bad man he can find before the sunset. He then turned to Duryodhana and asked him to count all good men before the sunset. Both of them left.Time rolled. Both came back in the evening.Krishna asked Duryodhana "How many did you find?.He said "None Krishna. No one in the world is good. The world is full of sinners and evil men".Krishna asked  Dharma. He said "My count is also zero.I could not find any evil men on Earth..To me everyone appears good".

Finally Krishna said to Duryodhana,"See my beloved Cousin, you were not able to find any good men because when you see others you tend to see them with the values and qualities you have. You judge others by what you know and you look only for the qualities you have.Since you have evil qualities you were able to identify only evil and Dharma could not find any evil men because he looked for the good qualities, which he has, when he judges others. You now got the answer,I always choose good when i have to choose between good and evil and that is why i preferred Pandavas to kauravas".

In a nutshell the moral of the story can be represented by the anecdote "people see the world, not as it is,but as they are" which is from one of Paulo coelho's book.So it is people's discretion what they see in other people. It is important whether they see what is true and whether they weigh good and bad qualities and finally judge the person based on the predominant good or bad quality.I am not saying this,It was said by Thiruvalluvar  in 4th century AD.
குணம்நாடி குற்றமும் நாடி மிகைநாடி
மிக்க கொளல்
That says it all.Understand that everyone is human and even people who managed a  place in the pages of history are humans and not avatars of god. They are also prone to mistake. But that doesn't make them less mortals. For heavens sake use rationality when talking about such people especially people who belong to pre-independent India(That hurts me a lot). Do not blabber since god has given you an organ called tongue and please try to use an organ  in the cranial box called brain if not your heart.

My Notes:
(Its been a long time that i blogged. These days there are no chances and opportunities to get mad.Life without anger is food without salt. I'm not myself these days. There might be some points which are not clear due to the fact that i consciously cut out lot of lines to keep the post short. If you don't agree with what is written then i can absolutely say that it should be coz of my  inability to convert what was in mind to text, but not due to the content.I have tried my best to make everything clear. If you find anything that you could not accept please do comment and lemme know.It will be useful for me to look at it from a different perspective.)
